Program that airs on WFSU Public Media at the beginning of every semester that is made up of stories Florida State students in Television Interviewing and Hosting have gathered throughout the prior semester.

In Fall of 2019 I produced three news packages, as the reporter, writer and editor, that captured current campus issues and highlighted local stories. I also received news anchor practice.

While contributing to the Seminole Showcase program I was one of five producers on the show, responsible for creating the shows rundown, writing segment scripts, and working with reporters to receive footage.

Sustainability at Florida State | Producer, Reporter, Writer, Editor

In August 2019 Florida State received a gold rating from Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education, jumping from a silver rating in 2015. Through my piece I discuss with Cyndel Brunell the FSU Sustainable Campus Program Director on how that achievement was possible and the steps being taken to continue to rise in rankings. I also explore the different way in which FSU practices sustainability on campus. One of which being Garnet and Gold Goes Green, where I interview student volunteers on why they participate how they see they are making a difference. 

Paper Fox Origin Story | Producer, Reporter, Writer, Editor

Paper Fox is a widely popular local coffee house for students in the Tallahassee area. However, many are unaware of their humble begins. Through my feature story I speak with the team that established the brand and what sparked their inspiration. My hope was to highlight all that the company does for the community as a whole and bring awareness to students looking for good coffee and a place to study.

Once the feature was produced the management of Paper Fox reposted it to their social media platforms. 

Vaping Epidemic on Campus | Producer, Reporter, Writer, Editor

With the outbreak of vaping related lung injury in late September of 2019, my piece focuses on making students aware of the issue, while also informing them on ways to combat it. Through speaking with medical professionals I learn of the effects that nicotine has on the brain and different initiatives FSU is taking to help students stop vaping.
